Increasing Your Sales, Setting Goals and Planning.

How much would you like to make each campaign? We all would love an extra $100-$300-$500 or so every 2 weeks right? Can you go get another job? Leave the kids? Hire a sitter? Is your boss going to give you that raise? well then...
GIVE YOURSELF A RAISE!!
Does $300 a month sound good to start? How can you do that with AVON? Break it down. That's $150 every 2 weeks. You can earn $150 a campaign easy!!!
Sell $425 at 40% earnings and you can profit up to $170. This varies of course because of fixed earnings items, and business tools, But you CAN profit $150 and more every 2 weeks.
Now, you're asking "How will I sell $425-$500 a campaign?"
Avon says the average customer order is $25. .. what is YOUR average customer order size?
Do the math. Take your total customer sales for the campaign and divide it by the number of customers you serviced. You will have your average customer order size. This should be at least $20-$25. $25 x 20 orders is $500 in sales. Do you have 20 customers ordering each campaign?
How many customers do you have? We know they aren't all going to order from you every campaign... OR WILL THEY?? Focus on getting your customers using our daily needs products... deoderants, shower gels, bath and body products, shampoo and hair care as well as the skin care products. These products are consumable... they use them up, and need to replace them!!
Set goals for finding new customers every campaign. 3 new customers a campaign will grow to 39 customers over a 6 month period.
Need to get there faster? then set your goal to 5 new customers a campaign OR MORE.
"How will I get these customers?"
Your contact list? Friends, family, neighbors, co workers? Prospecting in person. door knocking, canvassing, tossing, events, customer referrals? How about local businesses, Dr offices, schools? Be creative, have fun.
Everyone knows what AVON is... but does everyone know they can get it from YOU?
Don't forget to sign up as an eRepresentative now that it's FREE, promote yourself online, facebook, twitter etc...
One of the most important things you will do to increase sales and earnings is to FOLLOW UP!!! Every time you hand someone a brochure you should be getting their contact information. "Can I get your name and information to make sure you get future brochures?" Many reps are afraid of this step. They don't want to be pushy or be seen in a negative way. The FOLLOW UP is NOT being pushy, quite the opposite. It is offering great customer service. A quick phone call, text message or email reminding them that "your order goes in tomorrow and you didn't want them to miss out on their favorite products" is seen in a positve way. $300 a month not enough for you? Who could use more?
Besides continuously growing your customer base, learn to find ways to increase your average order size. Introducing 'Skin Care only' customers to our bath and body products, upselling by suggesting the lip liner with the lip stick order, nail polish for the toes with the footworks purchases, suggesting the cleanser for the night cream purchase. Showing the jewelry and gift items. Some great products just 'get lost' in the brochures, but when you point them out or show them to the customer they become quite interested.
Make sure customers know about the scented pages in the brochures and that they know how to use them. The are NOT scratch and sniff the page...but RUB THE WRIST and experience the scent from the wrist. Introduce the fragrances to your customers that don't normally buy fragrance. Many times they don't even pay attention to them just because they already have a favorite that they use regularly.
Don't forget about Helpers and subsellers too!! These are friends or customers that help you get orders and collect payment from their own friends or coworkers. Make sure they know how to utilize the brochures and samples for increased sales and earnings.
Did I mention DEMO DEMO DEMO? Pick a product and SHOW it. Don't just use it or wear it but make it a point to tell your customers "LOOK what's new!!"
Be Creative in introducing products and special offers to your customers. You will be hearing lots of wonderful ideas from many successful Representatives today, but remember, whatever you do with this.... HAVE FUN!!! If you're enjoying yourself and your business your customers will be too! So, Set your goals, make a plan and don't let anything stop you!!
